FinanceTracker ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
We collect only what is necessary to operate the service:
Ledger data for signed-in users is stored in a Supabase (PostgreSQL) database hosted in the United States. Data is protected by row-level security policies so only you can access your records. Local-only users' data stays entirely in their browser's localStorage and never leaves their device.
We use browser localStorage to store your ledger state locally and an authentication session cookie set by Supabase when you sign in. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
Your data is retained for as long as your account exists. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at the address below. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
FinanceTracker is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do we will update the "last updated" date above. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
