The Income Tracker

Subscription cost calculator

By The Income Tracker · Updated 8 September 2026

The short answer

Small monthly amounts hide big yearly ones. Enter your monthly subscription total to see the annual and five-year cost. Add the amount you could cancel and the calculator shows what that becomes if you save it at a typical interest rate.

Find the real monthly figure

Most people undercount. Card subscriptions never show in the bank's Direct Debit list, app store subscriptions arrive as one unhelpful line, and annual renewals get forgotten. Import three months of transactions into The Income Tracker and the recurring view lists every repeating payment, with the amounts. That is the number to type in above.

The cancel list

Then cancel properly: with the company first, and with your bank or card issuer if it is a card payment they will not stop. The subscriptions guide covers each type.
