By The Income Tracker ยท Updated 8 September 2026
In short
Log in to Co-operative Bank online banking in a desktop browser, open the account, pick a date range and export as CSV. Then import that file into The Income Tracker and track your money for free, with no bank login.
Export Co-operative Bank transactions as CSV
Log in to online banking in a desktop browser.
Open the account and go to its transactions.
Run a transaction search for the date range you want. The download option only appears after a search.
Click Download (labelled Download CSV on some accounts) and choose CSV.
Save the file and import it into The Income Tracker.
The export is easy to miss because it only shows once you have searched. Personal exports include Date, Description, Type, Money In, Money Out and Balance columns, which the tracker reads directly. Business online banking keeps 25 months of transactions.
Formats Co-operative Bank offers: CSV (personal); CSV, PDF, TXT and XLS (business). CSV is the cleanest import. OFX and QIF also import directly.

Drop the file in and every transaction lands in a month-by-month ledger. Drag items into categories, flag the recurring ones, and watch your surplus update as you go. Money moved between your own accounts gets auto-skipped, so transfers never double-count. Duplicates are caught too, so importing overlapping date ranges is safe.
Can I export Co-operative Bank transactions to CSV for free?
Yes. Co-operative Bank lets you download your own transactions as a file at no cost from Co-operative Bank online banking in a desktop browser. You then import that file into a budgeting tool such as The Income Tracker.
Do I need to connect or log in to my bank to use The Income Tracker?
No. There is no open-banking connection and you never enter bank credentials into The Income Tracker. You download the file from Co-operative Bank yourself and drop it into the app, which runs entirely in your browser.
Is my Co-operative Bank data kept private?
Yes. The Income Tracker is local-first. Your imported transactions stay in your own browser and are never uploaded to a server, unless you choose to sign in to sync across devices.
Can I export a whole year from the Co-operative Bank in one go?
Users report yes: run one search for the full date range and download a single CSV.
