Download your Marcus by Goldman Sachs statement
Log in at marcus.co.uk or open the Marcus app.
Select the savings account, then Documents (labelled Statements and documents on some screens).
Choose the statement period and download the PDF.
Copy the transaction lines and paste them into The Income Tracker. Savings statements are short: deposits, withdrawals and interest.
Marcus offers no CSV, OFX or QIF download and no accounting-software connection. For a savings account you mostly want the interest and transfer lines, which is a quick paste once a month or once a quarter.
Formats Marcus by Goldman Sachs offers: PDF statements only. CSV is the cleanest import. OFX and QIF also import directly.

Drop the file in and every transaction lands in a month-by-month ledger. Drag items into categories, flag the recurring ones, and watch your surplus update as you go. Money moved between your own accounts gets auto-skipped, so transfers never double-count. Duplicates are caught too, so importing overlapping date ranges is safe.
Can I export Marcus by Goldman Sachs transactions to CSV?
Not directly. Marcus by Goldman Sachs provides PDF statements from the Marcus website or app, under Documents, with no CSV, OFX or QIF option at the time of checking. Download the PDF, copy the transaction rows and paste them into The Income Tracker, which reads the dates, descriptions and amounts from the text.
Do I need to connect or log in to my bank to use The Income Tracker?
No. There is no open-banking connection and you never enter bank credentials into The Income Tracker. You download the file from Marcus by Goldman Sachs yourself and drop it into the app, which runs entirely in your browser.
Is my Marcus by Goldman Sachs data kept private?
Yes. The Income Tracker is local-first. Your imported transactions stay in your own browser and are never uploaded to a server, unless you choose to sign in to sync across devices.
Do I need to track a savings account at all?
Only the movements. Log transfers in and out so they pair with the matching transfer in your current account and are skipped as internal moves, and log interest as income if you want the full picture.
