Log in to Virgin Money Internet Banking in a desktop browser (the app offers PDF statements only), open the account, pick a date range and export as CSV. Then import that file into The Income Tracker and track your money for free, with no bank login.
Export Virgin Money transactions as CSV
Sign in to Virgin Money Internet Banking in a desktop browser, not the app.
Click the account you want to export.
Find the download or print option above the transaction list.
Set the date range.
Choose CSV, picking the detailed version if offered, and click Export transactions.
Save the file and import it into The Income Tracker.
Virgin Money says the export is not available on every account type. If yours only shows PDF statements, copy the transactions out of the PDF and paste them in instead.
Formats Virgin Money offers: CSV (basic or detailed) and PDF. CSV is the cleanest import. OFX and QIF also import directly.
The Income TrackerImport your Virgin Money CSV. Free, no account, no bank login.
Drop the file in and every transaction lands in a month-by-month ledger. Drag items into categories, flag the recurring ones, and watch your surplus update as you go. Money moved between your own accounts gets auto-skipped, so transfers never double-count. Duplicates are caught too, so importing overlapping date ranges is safe.
Can I export Virgin Money transactions to CSV for free?
Yes. Virgin Money lets you download your own transactions as a file at no cost from Virgin Money Internet Banking in a desktop browser (the app offers PDF statements only). You then import that file into a budgeting tool such as The Income Tracker.
Do I need to connect or log in to my bank to use The Income Tracker?
No. There is no open-banking connection and you never enter bank credentials into The Income Tracker. You download the file from Virgin Money yourself and drop it into the app, which runs entirely in your browser.
Is my Virgin Money data kept private?
Yes. The Income Tracker is local-first. Your imported transactions stay in your own browser and are never uploaded to a server, unless you choose to sign in to sync across devices.
Can I export a CSV from the Virgin Money app?
No. The app produces PDF statements. CSV export is on Internet Banking in a browser, and only for some account types.
