The Income Tracker

How to download your Kroo statement (and track it free)

By The Income Tracker ยท Updated 16 September 2026

In short

Kroo does not offer a CSV export. Download the PDF statement from the Kroo app, copy the transaction rows, and paste them into The Income Tracker. It reads the dates and amounts for you. Free, no bank login.

Download your Kroo statement

  1. Open the Kroo app and tap Account at the bottom right.
  2. Scroll to Statements and tap View statement history.
  3. Choose the month and tap download, then save or share the PDF.
  4. Open the PDF, copy the transaction rows and paste them into The Income Tracker's import box.

Kroo statements are monthly PDFs. The in-app feed can differ slightly from the statement because pending payments show in the feed but only settled transactions appear on the statement, so treat the statement as the record.

Formats Kroo offers: PDF monthly statements only. CSV is the cleanest import. OFX and QIF also import directly.

What happens after you import

Drop the file in and every transaction lands in a month-by-month ledger. Drag items into categories, flag the recurring ones, and watch your surplus update as you go. Money moved between your own accounts gets auto-skipped, so transfers never double-count. Duplicates are caught too, so importing overlapping date ranges is safe.

Kroo statements are PDF only. See how to import a PDF bank statement.

Frequently asked questions

Can I export Kroo transactions to CSV?
Not directly. Kroo provides PDF statements from the Kroo app, with no CSV, OFX or QIF option at the time of checking. Download the PDF, copy the transaction rows and paste them into The Income Tracker, which reads the dates, descriptions and amounts from the text.
Do I need to connect or log in to my bank to use The Income Tracker?
No. There is no open-banking connection and you never enter bank credentials into The Income Tracker. You download the file from Kroo yourself and drop it into the app, which runs entirely in your browser.
Is my Kroo data kept private?
Yes. The Income Tracker is local-first. Your imported transactions stay in your own browser and are never uploaded to a server, unless you choose to sign in to sync across devices.
Why does my Kroo statement not match the app?
The statement shows settled transactions for the month. Pending card payments and anything that settled after month end appear in the app feed but not on that statement. Kroo's help centre explains the difference.
